If you don't it looks poor on you for not trying hard enough. It would look poor on us if we let those who had less than adequate applications. Take the time to review other applications that you have access to view and get a good idea of what to write. You should not write a small sentence or a few sentences for why you should be accepted because this is an important factor in accepting you. Also, it bothers me a little but I understand, but try to not to use no staff as a reason, it doesn't show your qualities and rather points out our flaws, which you do not want to do in a company.
