If so, why?: A: I have had previous punishments, mainly consisting of jails and a few small bans. I'm fully aware my past actions were not in line with the rules and I will make no attempt to hide my record as I was simply messing about, pretending to be dumb, and having fun with friends. I apologize for my previous actions. This server was the go-to for Gmod for myself and after playing for some time and enjoying the community, I thought I would actually be beneficial and contribute to its effort in growing and maintaining its already strong player base. Your Age: A: 17 Your Timezone: A: EST Time Played: A: I attempted to find the time played when I logged on last night and was told it was "in the top right of my screen" from the staff at the time. For whatever reason, I couldn't see or find it (I play windowed which may have caused it) and so I simply don't know my time, but I've been playing fairly consistently for weeks and can assure that I have well over the required play time to apply. EDIT: I got the time from a staff member, currently at 4 days, 11 hours, 35 minutes or 107 hours and 35 minutes. Staffing Experience (Optional): A: I have plenty of staff experience, including out of Gmod and within it as well. I have a full year of experience outside of Gmod. Within that time included months of administering, moderating, leading a group of trainees and a moderation team. This is within a separate, bigger game I am willing to disclose privately if needed. Within Gmod, I have moderated roughly 3 months on an old server that has been closed down for some time due to financial issues (owner was in college) and averaged 60-70 on the weekends and lesser amounts during the week. I have learned how to act in a staff position and several other skills as well within that time. Why should you be accepted to the staff team?: A: My dedication, experience, and professionalism are a few of my reasoning for why I am suitable for a fairly menial task such as moderation. My dedication is shown through the year of staff work on one single project outside of Gmod. If I was not dedicated, I would have slacked off and been removed from my position not long after. I can prove my extended experience but it should show for itself if I am given the opportunity to join the moderation team. Lastly, professionalism is an important key to being a staff member, as one member of it reflects the whole team. As I've seen, if one or two members are immature for example it makes the rest of the team look bad and results in players blaming the bunch. Being and maintaining professionalism in several situations is a trait I have developed through being trained and my past experience. Additional Info (Optional): A: Just wanted to begin with a fairly brief apology to those that I may have annoyed in the past through messing about on the server; I'm not actually an ass and I am genuinely nice, but you don't have to take my word for it or accept my apology. I wanted to get that out there for a few who may not be supportive of the idea of me on the staff team for having messed around a bit within the server (which, is perfectly fine if you are unapproving of me). I am dedicated to help the server out and contribute to the staff team and community if given the chance. Chances are you aren't on all the time to see everybody that plays. Not sure why all this is dragged into my app but regardless, I don't view it as a job because I'm not paid, employed, and since it was me simply volunteering to help around and moderate a community.
