Explain what happened: Got put in a sit with a friend who I killed because of button spam on my door which clearly has a label saying Messing with door/button KOS. we were in discord at the time and he said the admin is cool so just figured whatever. But evidently the admin had different ideas and decided to jail and eventually mute me indefinitely. That's cool, even my friend during the sit said not to jail me and there is proof of that in the logs, was trying to get a screen shot of the pm the admin sent but it was too far. My friend decided to try to get me unjailed by calling a different admin to see if one of them didn't have a tyrannical attitude but to no avail we got Joaquin. enough said, even if the sit is not enough for action the permanent mute and "thanks for the reminder to unmute you' is miss used power. It will be interesting to see what happens on these forums. From what I see from previous reports it seems set in stone unless a higher up sees them doing something on the server. Even then. 

 

Evidence (screenshots, video, chat log, etc.) The video is about the chat. it clearly shows "Unmuted" and "thanks for reminding me" for those who don't care there are screenshots lower. And just a few images of proof of ignorance and egotistical behavior due to having power over the players. Also cant wait to see those in the comments who didn't read or most importantly watch the first 5 seconds of the video on how I spoke while muted and reminded him of the mute, see you below! 

 

And sadly as my friend has already started doing every time on the server I will also start recording everything. Its unfortunate that its a common thing to do.

honestly i always joke around with the admins and i feel like we are cool and i meant for this to be a joke but it turned out to be a meme gone wrong and i feel like the muting part was a bit far considering he was just trying to just explain himself which the admin in question kind of  just threw his role away if he wasn't willing to hear the other side.

@MasonMasonMason Your friend decided to call a sit about RDM with no intentions to even have the sit resolved. As he said in the sit "We're both in discord", and from his comment above.

I take full responsibility for the indefinite mute, I was only going to mute you for the duration of the sit due to you saying nonsense, I apologize that I forgot to unmute you. On the other hand, you decided to then kill your friend right in front of me (During the sit). The reason you were jailed was not because of the "False" sit your buddy called for, but it was from your ignorance and futile move to kill him during the sit. On-top of that, you decided to spam me with the same message 4 times "He obviously didn't want you jailed".

Besides the mute being 5 minutes after the sit and "spam" was 2 messages saying see you on the forums and for the random jail which each message was 5~ minutes in between  the message above was only really for taking full responsibility. 

Other than that the kill in front of you during the sit was not only explained to you, condoned by the person I killed and pretty much entirely irrelevant to your case. The jail could be if you squint from miles away justified. The mute was entirely unnecessary and from what i'm looking for a justifiable action to some kind of punishment

There were no sides, I brought you both, you talked to me for just about 30 seconds about him RDMING you, then I brought him. He decided to RDM you then utter some nonsense as to why he RDM'd you. When I brought you back, like I said in an earlier post you said "We're both in Discord".

Nonsense being more or less mute during the entire sit due to eating and talking to my friend telling him tdlr; hes a jackass and I want to get back to my base to set up miners. I don't believe there is any cause for really anything past your jail and even then like said above. Ignorant egotistical administrators in any sense of game/life is devastating to the community.

The mute was completely necessary, you weren't even trying to comply to the sit, just uttering some nonsense is really going to help your side?

If you need to see the pictures and me call you out in game every time you lose control of the topic and start using powers to justify your false rules or even just use powers because your board/decide you can without any context or proof to the subject. For example as listed above many times, you decide to mute while after the sit for trying to make sense of my 3 messages during the sit for really no apparent reason, and "forget" to unmute.

I was not "oppressing the community", I was simply punishing someone that needed a punishment.

I'm currently saying and have been saying that I even though rather not likely could have deserved the jail. the mute is not needed for a RDM nor 5 messages altogether. Especially when you "forgot"

You were only muted for a total time of about 8 or 9 minutes, I agree that it was protracted, but it was not extreme.

As stated before, was not random. it was condoned by the victim therefor by all other Admins and Mods besides you because of the post, is O.K. In which could be considered no circumstantial ground for the Jail. 

Its in my opinion a waste of time to create a post or an @ for an RDM unless its truly worth bringing light on a subject. Abusive power normally fits the bill and here we are. 

I believe you have stated everything you wanted over the forum. And now its up to what the Admin decides. Proof is there.

Lets get some things off our chest here.

 

One. You may not RDM or do ANY sort of actions in a sit. RDM in a SIT is PUNISHABLE.

 

Two. You do not decide the conclusion. Staff MAY offer you a decision on jailing or letting a player go. If they do not, they may punish if the rule was broken.

 

Three. @Blade O Grass You do not mute players in a sit for speaking "utterly nonsense". You mute players in a sit for mic spamming. That's it. Nothing to argue there. 

 

Four. "Permanent mute"Let's be real here sir, you aren't permanently muted, you state "Its, in my opinion, a waste of time to create a post or an @ for an RDM unless it's truly worth bringing light on a subject." So you're making a report about a staff member "abusing" claiming he "permanently" muted you. It was an accident, the staff member even admitted it was an accident. I understand why you're upset by his such lack of thinking. But do not shed your anger out and start saying such things need hardcore punishment and need to be treated at a top level, accidents happen, let's be men here and face it like a man and just understand that he forgot to remove the mute. He will be spoken to. As for the jail for RDM, even if your friend said he didn't want you jailed. You can still be punished. You do not choose the punishment, YOU are not handling the sit, the staff member is handling it and concludes them.

 

Five. You bring up these facts of how he acts with "having power over players". By quoting/taking pictures of the staff member saying stuff that's... not having power over players at all. He introduced himself letting players know he's a moderator of a server. Are you seriously saying he's trying to "flash" the powers he has over players? This is sort of a joke, it has to be. "It says I'm a moderator" You really felt he was trying to say he has power over you? No staff member here has power over anyone. Unless it comes to rule breakers. In which then, we have the power to make sure the rule-breaking does not happen. 

 

At the end of the day. No proof is shown that it wasn't "RDM".

 

You showed proof of the accident mute that was not "permanent" you, later on, got unmuted. The staff member will be talked to about his such actions he's used the muting command for.
