Shallow being Bias and not doing his job and Todd's harasment

Explain what happened: for the past week Todd has been Harassing me and calling sits on me to get me in trouble Colt has told us to stay away form each other many times but he keeps harassing me and Raiding me and Mugging me and kidnapping me and today pushed me over the line on how Bias this staff member was. It all started with Shallow taking a sit with Todd make it about how i raided him after colt told us to not interact with each other. I raided him after me kidnapped me when colt told him not to and nobody did anything about it. about 30 mins later after the kidnap and raid me i started a raid on Todd when I died Todd called for a sit and said i was Harassing him so we both told Shallow the person who claimed the sit that colt told us both to stay away from each other so when i told Shallow that Todd had also been Harassing me he did nothing about it. I brought up a point of him having a false base but he said the base was valid and he was saying how i was wrong and his base was fine even tho it broke the basing rules (1. You may not use no-collided walk-in props or props where you can walk in and not receive damage.) but he didn't care he jailed me "harassment" and he didn't care about me telling him that he was also harassing me and not looking into it and just taking Todd's side on the entirety of the sit. I fell that something should have been done but the staff member doesn't understand I was also jailed for 300 secs. Harassment: 1x 120 second jail, 2x 300 second jail, 4x ban for 24 hours

My Opinion:

I agree with Poppy, I do feel like this staff member was being biased towards one player (todd). As seen in the videos both sides do admit that Colt told them to stay away from each other, but both sides continue to bother each other. Now to explaining, the reason that I feel like this staff member was indeed being biased is because a lot of his decisions seemed to be in Todds Favor. Lets start with video 1 & 2, as seen in this video Todd raids poppy and then admits that he kidnapped/assisted in the kidnapping of poppy which clearly shows after colt had told the both of them to stay away from each other. Now lets move on to video 3 & 4, This video shows Poppy reporting todd for having a false/illegal base. When Poppy makes the report shallow says that the base is fine and doesn't go to check it, which if it was illegal(which it was) gives todd time to fix it and not get in trouble for it. In this situation I fell that the staff member should have at least went and checked the base to see if it was illegal or not, not just go off judgement or previous context on whether it was illegal or not. And now finally video 5 poppy getting jailed for harassment, This video I feel like it is the best one, This video shows only poppy getting punished and not todd when they both were clearly harassing each other. This clearly shows that this staff member is being biased I the favor of todd because it shows him only punishing poppy and not todd, I feel as if both sides should have been punished for harassing each other.

 

Action That Should Be Taken Against Staff Member:

Demotion (We need staff that are not biased)

or

Staff Strike and a Good Talking to(If you believe he deserves another chance)

I can confirm that I told both users to stay away from each other. I can also confirm that Shallow was interfering with many of my sits concerning Todd. In my personal opinion I believe that Shallow should be allowed to remain on the staff team. This is all that I have to say on the matter. If further input is required, I will answer any questions asked.

Personally I don’t think demotion should be considered, shallow is great staff member, just got caught in a bad situation and made some wrong calls, we all could of.

You never provided any evidence of said harassment, although the sit was only about you harassing Todd, and so you should have called a separate sit for that, as I took the sit for you harassing Todd.

He never kidnapped you. His friend Jigalo did. I had this sit with you 10 minutes prior because Jigalo adverted kidnap after he bludgeoned you. The fact that Jigalo was partied with Todd isn't Todd harassing you. Also Todd killed you for it because you tried to run, and Todd was partied with Jigalo.

When you said that, I assumed you were talking about the prop you can see me getting stuck in at 00:05 in Video 1.

As you can see at 12:20, I did check the staff handbook before jailing you, as I wasn't sure of the Harassment punishment, as this usually isn't an issue. And yes, you did in fact harass him twice, once prior to the sit by being at his base after being told to stay away, and there is no reason to be at his base. The second is you being at his base again, as I was bringing Todd and you to the sit. 00:30

You did nothing about the base, (Video 1 - 00:38) you returned me, but when you returned me I was still in the no-collided prop. You did nothing about it, even in the picture he sent you as proof I was standing in the no-collided prop. You did nothing as a staff member when I brought up the false base. You should've checked before jailing me, instead of after. For the part where he was assisting in the kidnap, Colt said "He is not to go ANYWHERE near me at ALL for ANY CIRCUMSTANCE RP or NOT."

Roleplaying is not harassment, targetting can be. I want it to be well known, he has every right just as much as you do, to raid or kidnap you once in awhile. Targetting one person is different. Having a group of friends and purposely making your friends target someone on your behalf, is indeed harassment also. So if his friends were kidnapping you one after one, this is a harassment issue.

Harassment -

You state he's harassing you, but you're also raiding him back as you've stated, you did not listen to Colt and continued to raid the player that you suppose to be staying away from.

Just because they don't listen and still kidnap you, does not mean you go and raid him and won't get looked upon. You did actions back towards him instead of calling for administrative assistance.

 

False Base - That rule is for situations like this: Getting raided, I have a no collided block I can crouch in and take no damage. I crouch in it, peak out to shoot the person, and crouch back down.

That's what the rule is implying. In this situation, it's just a no-collided wall, nothing special, not being used for any sort of situation, by the looks of it, it's simply no-collided. If you can show me video evidence of this player using it to an advantage, for Ex, Walking out of it, shooting you, then walking back into it. he may get punished. For now, this is not a false base.

 

Bias -

Although the staff member is making more points on the side of Todd then yours, it does not mean he's purposely choosing sides. By the story the staff members giving, he's simply telling you what the logs are reading off. Now the staff member indeed should not have assumed the base was fine and should have validated that this base was in-fact, following the rules. Even though I've made it clear that that specific No-Collide is fine, any sort of "FALSE BASE" sit, should be handled when called for. As for the jailing, the staff member has completely had no right to jail one for harassment and not the other when both were "harassing" each other (Not sure how you can call harassment on someone and do the same things back to them, typically when someone is harassing you, you do not make contact with them and just inform administrators.)

 

By this report, it's clear the staff member did a poor job, but you also did not listen to the staff member, nor did Todd. The staff member will be talked to about his poor decision making.

The staff member has been issued a Staff Strike for his actions.
