Basic Guide to Mining in MBRP

Introduction

This is pretty much my first big thread on the forums and also my first guide, but anyway let's get into it.

The location of the mining area is in mexico, near the church and hobo area, as seen here:

once you're inside, turn to the left and you will be in the mining area.

 

Getting Started

To begin, pick the miner job in the F4 menu, which is not limited and you can go to this job at any time.

To get started, we first need to go to the Mining NPC and understand how mining works.

 

Ores

The ores section tells you the amount of ores you have for each of the ores for this addon.

The ores that you can mine are included on this page, and should look like this: 

 

You can sell these ores, or you can use them for different purposes (which is basically just crafting, which we will move onto now)

Crafting
The crafting section is the area which is used to craft weapons such as Akimbo Mac-11's, PKM, or a double barrel shotgun.

The menu should look like this:

if you click on any of the weapons, the ores required to craft the weapon will show up on the right side of the menu, and for example, i'm gonna click on the Mac 11's just to show

As you can see, ores are required to craft these weapons, but with no upgrades it is hard, so lets move on to the upgrades section of the menu.

Upgrades

The upgrades section improves 3 factors when mining:

Pickaxe Force

Pickaxe Speed

Minerals Rate

to upgrade these, you need quite a lot of money. I'm not quite sure on the exact amount of money, but it is most likely 200 mil at least to acquire max levels, but even if you have that money, your level, as seen on the top can affect that.

In order to unlock level 1 upgrades, you must be mining level 0

To unlock level 2, you need to be mining level 5

Level 3 is Mining level 10

Level 4 is mining level 15

Level 5 is mining level 25

On max upgrades, you should be able to acquire 6 of the ore, every 1-4 swings, at a speed of estimated 1 second

 

Mining

All the ores on the mining addon include:

Apophyllite

Stone

Austinite

Brookite

Diamond

Bloodstone

Ruby

Coal

Uranium

Amethyst

All of these ores can be found in the mining area, and should have the ore name and color on it. They look like this:

 

 

 

Uranium

Uranium is a difficult ore to locate.
It appears every 25 minutes on average, and stays for around 10 minutes from experience.

The lake in canada has the uranium in the lake by the way
